A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a bright, switched on, first-class Executive Assistant to support an impressive individual who is CEO of a start-up fintech business. This is a demanding yet rewarding role that offers hybrid working.
Key Duties for the Executive Assistant
- Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements to liaise with clients and investors.
- Screen and prioritise incoming communications (emails, calls, letters, etc.), responding on behalf of the CEO where appropriate.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external use.
- Keep abreast of all key client facing projects, ensuring that core meetings are scheduled and client stakeholders/ key client relationships are tracked.
- Collaborate with various departments to support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Plan and execute company events, conferences, and business functions.
- Tracking of key clients and accounts through the use of Salesforce
Requirements for the Executive Assistant
- Educated to degree level
- 5+ years of experience in high-level administrative support, ideally as a PA to senior executives or C-level management within a fast-paced environment.
- Being approachable and fostering positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to negotiate on the executive’s behalf when coordinating deals, travel, or managing issues with stakeholders.
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: You should be able to anticipate the needs of the executive and act without constant direction.
- Demonstrating a high degree of professionalism in both demeanour and appearance, representing the executive at all times.
- A high degree of trust and loyalty is essential for building a strong working relationship with the executive.
- Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations or under tight deadlines.
- Able to find solutions to complex problems quickly and efficiently, often in situations requiring discretion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the ever-changing demands of an executive’s schedule.
